catarmyBody and Appearance
Describe the character's height and build. Are they heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Raine is very short and very slight of build, though they have some muscles in their legs.
How old are they?
1709 years old. Body is visibly in about early to mid 20s.
Describe their posture. Do they carry himself well or does he slouch?
They tend to slouch when they sit, but when they're standing, they have relatively good posture.
How is their health? Are they fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
They are not in the greatest shape; their greatest weakness is their lack of stamina for long-term ventures that require physical activity. They're relatively healthy otherwise. They are almost always tired in some capacity and capable of napping within a few minutes.
Their mental health is another story.
How do they move? Are they clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
They move like a cat, and all that entails. In short: all of the above, based on the situation and their state of mind.
How attractive is this character physically? How do they perceive themself in the mirror?
Raine probably adheres to some amount of generally accepted attractiveness. Raine just wants to be cute.
Describe their complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
As someone with vampiric lineage combined with not getting a lot of sunlight, they are, most decidedly, pale.
Describe their hair: color, texture, style.
Their hair is dark brown and has a golden-like fade towards the ends. It's silky and fine.
What color are their eyes?
Raine has heterochromia! Their left eye is a soft jade green, and their right eye is closer to a dull sapphire color.
Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
When excited, Raine tends to partially transform, which causes their cat fur patterns to start to show on their skin (according to fur color.)
What are their chief tension centers?
Primarily the upper body, hands, and feet.
What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or do they have six of the same suit?
Super casual for the most part, with splashes of color in terms of what hair or neck ribbons they wear that day.
You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Bare-ass under everything! Well, usually. Sometimes they'll wear briefs. Sometimes panties. One never knows....
Speech
What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
How do they normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Do they talk easily, or do they hesitate?
Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
What language/s do they speak, and with how much fluency?
Are they a good impromptu speaker, or do they have to think about their words?
Are they eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Mental and Emotional
How intelligent is this character? Are they book-smart or street-smart?
Describe the character's thought process. Are they more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
What kind of education has the character had?
What are their areas of expertise? What, if anything, are they interested in learning more about?
Are they an introvert or an extrovert?
Describe the character's temperament. Are they even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
How does he respond to new people or situations? Are they suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Are they more likely to act, or to react?
Which is their default: fight, freeze, or flight?
Describe the character's sense of humor. Do they appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
What moments in this character's life have defined them as a person?
What do they fear?
What are their hopes or aspirations?
What is something they doesn't want anyone to find out about them?
Relationships
Describe this character's relationship with their parents.
Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Are there other blood relatives to whom they are close? Are there ones they can't stand?
Are there other, unrelated people whom they consider part of their family? What are their relationships with them?
Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Do they have other close friends?
Do they make friends easily, or do they have trouble getting along with people?
Which do they consider more important: family or friends?
Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Have they been married more than once?
Who was their first crush? Who is their latest?
What do they look for in a romantic partner?
Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how do they relate to them? If no, do they want any?
Do they have any rivals or enemies?
What is the character's sexual orientation? Where do they fall on the Kinsey scale or other means of classification?
How do they feel about sex? How important is it to them?
What are their turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Beliefs
Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well do they fit the type?
Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in their life?
Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
How do they regard beliefs that differ from theirs? Are they tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
What prejudices do they hold? Are they irrational or do they have a good reason for them?
Daily Life
What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
What is their social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected them?
Where do they live? House, apartment, trailer? Is their home their castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Do they share it with others?
Besides the basic necessities, what do they spend his money on?
What do they do for a living? Are they good at it? Do they enjoy it, or would they rather be doing something else?
What are their interests or hobbies? How do they spend their free time?
What are their eating habits? Do they skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
