[The day that they've bothered to actually finish the dessert has arrived. Raine uses their senses to avoid crowds that they don't want to go near while they seek out Nobunaga, their offering carefully hidden by layers of chilled cloths.

[It isn't easy to make desserts with such a limited ingredient stock. At least, regarding this kind.

[Their sense of smell eventually points him out to them - or at least his general location.]

[He barely remembers how old it is, so you know. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. It is under five years old, he's sure of that! But everything else about it is a blur. It might even be some sort of religious thing, in which case it's a good thing(?) he doesn't believe in hell, or he'd be destined for there for sure.]

[Also while he's all for letting Raine inspecting it, he doesn't make it easy on them, and just gently covers Raine's neck in kisses. Because he can, unless he's pushed away, really.]

[Good thing Raine doesn't really believe in it, either. They open up the vial to take a sniff of it, pretending to ignore Nobunaga's attentions while they make damn sure that this oil is 1) not going to cause some freakish illness if applied to more sensitive places and 2) not going to just straight up cause something bad to happen.

[So clearly, clearly!

[The bright idea is to pour a drop onto their finger, and lick it and see how it tastes.

[...Candy oil? It's vanilla...

[Their eyes bug out.

[Flustered, with goosebumps from the tugging on their ass, there's a brief ripple of their skin, the starting of pepper-dotted white fur at their belly and up towards their chest, before they force the transformation back, down to the last strand of fur.

[They squirm a little with a huff, watching him keenly, one hand resting their their mouth as if they might bite it to stifle their voice.

[They wonder, idly, if Oda can tell by touch that they used to be more muscular once upon a time, before a long slumber robbed them of their full strength from disuse.]

I wouldn't blame you if you find it unsightly without the oil on it....

[Uncertain and unsettled, in spite of having a tongue right on it a moment before, Raine watches the warlord with the expression of someone bracing to have their heart broken.]
